A key advantage of images printed on the Prima 3 Duo Plus reverse transfer printer is the enhanced wear protection it provides, particularly with Magicard's stronger-than-ever reverse transfer film. Other advantages include very high print quality and true over-the-edge printing, the ability to print on cards with uneven or bumpy surfaces (e.g., technology cards with embedded electronics), and the ability to print onto non-PVC cards (e.g., ABS, PET, PVH and Polycarbonate).

Easy-to-use. The Magicard Prima 3 Duo Plus printer features a user-friendly graphical driver that provides auto ribbon detection, auto-cleaning prompts and ribbon status level updates. Its LCD panel changes color based on printer status messages, prompts and troubleshooting. The Prima 3 Duo Plus offers convenient front access for ribbon and card supplies loading. Plus, you can replenish your card supply while the Prima 3 Duo Plus is in operation.

Available lamination. Add more durability and increased security to your personalized cards with the single-sided Magicard Prima 3 In-line Lamination Unit (ILU). This laminator can also be purchased with the optional Magicard Prima 3 Turnover Unit to perform lamination on both sides of your cards.

A range of options. Create feature-rich cards with the Magicard Prima 3 Duo Plus printer by selecting from a variety of magnetic stripe and smart card encoding choices. The Prima 3 Duo Plus is just one in a complete line of reverse transfer printing offered by Magicard, and can easily be upgraded as your needs grow. For example, you can upgrade at any time to high speed duplex printing with the ability to connect up to seven printers for high volume card production (Prima 3 High Output). You also have the opportunity to add magnetic stripe encoding or lamination any time you need it. In addition, you can incorporate UV features (e.g., face, signatures, etc.) unto your cards with Magicard's new grayscale YMCK-UV ribbon. Your UV features provide a level of security—only becoming visible with a special UV light.
